Kale is a hearty green that with a little loving transforms into a delicious and healthy alternative to your standard salad greens. It’s nice to switch things up.
Simply remove the kale from its stems, take bunches in both hands and rub them together. It will become smaller, softer, darker and taste less bitter.
I recently had some kale from wholefoods that was lathered in garlicky goodness so I combined that idea with a few caesar dressing ingredients.
In my new Ninja (yes! yes!) I blended the following:
a few anchovies
3 large garlic cloves
salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
about tbsp of parmesan cheese
tbsp of Worcestershire
tbsp of mayo
dash or two of olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
